It was a rainy, blustery, and chilly day on Madisen & Jordan’s wedding day. And it ended with a gorgeous subtle sunset.

Walking into the hotel to hang out with the girls for getting ready photos, I was honestly a little nervous about the weather! Typically weather doesn't throw me THAT much, especially because I knew we had a great venue for pictures. But if there’s one weather thing that freaks me out on wedding day, it’s wind.

Once we arrived at Hickory Point Golf Course & Banquet Facility for the wedding festivities, while it was still blustery, the rain had dissipated and my concerns were dwindling. The venue was decorated beautifully inside and out, as the ceremony was taking place outside at the pavilion and the reception was going down inside the facility. There were so many small details in each part of the decoration that I just loved, from the florals on the ceremony backdrop to the keepsakes on Madisen’s bouquet.

It was very evident just how much heart went into putting this day on for the couple, and each vendor and person who had a hand in its orchestration did a phenomenal job. I want to once again thank Madisen & Jordan for choosing me to capture their day, as it was truly an honor and pleasure. It’s always humbling to be the person chosen, as wedding photos last a lifetime - so it’s like a small piece of me will always be there!
