Angela & Matt | Decatur IL Engagements

I have always been a fan of love stories.  One of the questions I like to ask ALL of my ANP couples is how they met.  I feel like this is such a key part in a couple's love story, and it sets the tone for the entire relationship.  With Angela & Matt, it started at Bradley University at the "Dog House" back in 2011 and has blossomed into something so amazing ever since.  I was SO excited for their engagement session, and I cannot wait to show you some of their pictures!  So let's dive in!

Angela chose to have the engagement session here in Decatur, since she grew up here, and also because the wedding is taking place at Matt's home in Knoxville, IL.  We met up down near the lake at the Anna Bethel Fisher Rock Garden and spent some time on the hill right outside overlooking Lake Decatur.  It was an unseasonably hot day for September, but we were make it fall for our session!  Angela did a great job picking outfits that not only matched their personalities but also coordinated very nicely.  After a quick change of clothes, we walked across the way over to the pier by Lake Decatur to grab some of that YUMMY sunset light!  

I am so excited for their wedding next August!  :) For now, enjoy some of my personal favorites from their engagement session!
