CAITLIN & KYLE | Decatur, IL Engagements

I had so much fun spending a breezy, cool afternoon with Caitlin & Kyle, along with their little guy Mr. L! :)

I met up with them in the downtown Decatur, IL area at a newer spot I have been wanting to photograph at for some time. It meant a lot to me that this sweet family trusted me to shoot at a newer location - and it totally paid off! It was cooler outside so we stayed relatively close to where we started. I wanted to get a mix of urban and natural - concrete and green - as I could given the options, which I think we pulled off super great.

Caitlin’s dress was so beautiful, and the wind occasionally picked it up for an extra cool vibe! :) We took some of the time for their engagement session to get updated family photographs and pictures of just Mr. L, which provided a ton of giggles, laughs and adventuring! What a blast!

I am really excited for their big day in June - we are going to have a ton of fun! Now, enough of my talking… let’s get to some of my favorites from the session!
