WEDDING WEDNESDAY | Corinne & Daniel | Decatur IL Receptions

Weddings are super exciting for me - from the glamour and decorations all the way to the emotions seen on the faces of family and friends as the bride and groom say "I Do."  One of my most FAVORITE things is how each wedding has its own unique spin.  For some, it's why they chose a specific date or color scheme.  For Corinne & Daniel, it was the location of their wedding - Grenada!

No no, I wasn't present for their wedding - in fact, it was just the two of them!  They reached out to me to photograph their intimate reception in Decatur, IL at the Decatur Arts Council building.  They opted to go the route of a destination wedding for simplicity and after almost not having a reception, they agreed to do one for family and close friends!  I met up with Corinne and Daniel (and Daniel's son!) prior to the reception to get their bridal portraits taken at the old Good's Furniture Warehouse in downtown Decatur, and after we finished up there we spent a few minutes outside of the Masonic Temple.

The space was decorated beautifully from the cake table, to the table decorations and the guestbook table which wasn't a guestbook at all -- it was a pumpkin!  The pale pink/gold colors they chose for their decorations was incredibly beautiful and perfect for their special evening.  I am really excited to be able to share some of their images with all of you!  Congratulations again to the happy couple - you are very blessed indeed!
